You design lots of things, what do you specialise in?

I was originally trained in typographic design and have spent a large part of my career in advertising. Working in advertising allowed me to experience all sorts of projects both in print and online. I aim to create work that communicates and engages with it’s intended audience. So, in short, I specialise in visual communication.

How much do you charge?

This is really difficult to say without knowing more about a specific project. I work primarily in two ways. Firstly I can work on-site on a consultancy basis where I generally charge a daily rate. Secondly I can work off-site on a project basis where I will evaluate the size and specifics of a project to come up with a cost and timing before commencing. I’m happy to evaluate your project and give you an estimate. You can get in touch with me on the contact page.

Do you work with clients in other countries?

Absolutely! With current technology it’s just as easy to work with someone on the other side of the world as it is someone around the corner. Over the years I’ve worked with people from all corners of the globe and spent 8 years living and working in the United States. I have a good feel for producing work that resonates with many cultures and sensibilities.

How does a typical project run?

I will evaluate your request and research your market, customers and competitors. I would aim to provide some design options to start our conversation. From here a second round design would evolve where we would ideally start to have a clear visual objective. After your review, discussion and feedback we would start the third and final round where we finalise the design. Once approved I’d supply all relevant filetypes.
